Local high school student honors his father’s legacy + creates organization to assist cancer patients

A young Birmingham man has made assisting cancer patients his mission after losing his father to cancer in 2019. Inspired by his dad's fight, Peter Anella founded the "Cool Cat Club," a nonprofit organization aimed at making the fight against cancer a little easier by providing patients with apparel, snacks, and even help with hospital bills.
